Jay Beaman of Raleigh was designated a Senior Life Director of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) by the Association’s board of directors at their Mid-Year Meeting held last week in Portland, Oregon.

 
Beaman is the owner and president of Beaman Building and Realty, Inc. He has been an active member of the Home Builder’s Association of Raleigh-Wake County since 1980, including serving as president of the Association and currently as a member of its board of directors.
 
He is a member of the Remodelers Council and The Green Home Builders of the Triangle. He is also a Realtor member of the Raleigh Regional Association of Realtors.
 
In order to be designated as a Senior Life Director, an NAHB builder or associate member must have attended at least two board meetings each year for 10 years before being elected as a Life Director, then two meetings a year for an additional 10 years to become a Senior Life Director.
