NCHBA Visits Congressional Delegation in Washington, DC

In June, NCHBA members traveled to Washington, DC to visit with North Carolina’s congressional delegation. The meetings were part of NAHB’s 2022 Legislative Conference. Nearly 50 members from across North Carolina traveled to the nation’s capital to speak with lawmakers about federal issues currently impacting home building in North Carolina. Some of the issues discussed included the availability of materials due to supply chain disruptions, tariffs on construction materials, and the skilled labor shortage impacting the industry.
