HBAs Recognized At Association Excellence Awards
NAHB recognized both NCHBA and the Home Builders Association of Raleigh-Wake County for outstanding accomplishments in association management at the Association Excellence Awards (AEA), held during NAHB’s Association Management Conference in Long Beach, CA.
NCHBA won Best Education Program for its “Sales Tax on Labor Information & Seminars”. Mike Carpenter, NCHBA Executive Vice President and General Counsel, accepted the award at the ceremony held on Monday, August 13.
Meanwhile, the HBA of Raleigh-Wake County won two awards – Best Local Government Affairs Program for “Builder-Inspector Quarterly Meetings” and Best Membership Effort for “Grill N Chill Challenge 2017”. Paul Kane, Executive Officer of Raleigh-Wake, accepted these awards.
The Association Excellence Awards is an annual program where like-sized HBAs compete for the “best of” in educational initiatives, communications projects, non-dues revenue generation for programs such as home and garden shows and parades, community service and other categories.
